12 hand-lettered fonts

hand lettered modern brush fonts, some free

I recently discovered Creative Market and opened up my own shop. As a graphic designer, Creative Market has so many goodies to offer like watercolor textures, fun clipart, and so much more. As far as fonts go it is definitely font heaven and I even made some fonts of my own.

Below you will find the links to these gorgeous hand-lettered fonts that are great to use for your creative designs.

Some of these fonts are free and some are for a great price. This post includes affiliate links, but I only share fonts and links that I love.

Customize your Storenvy store html and css

UPDATE! This tutorial was written for the old Storenvy theme so not all changes will work for the new default Cooper theme.

You can also find premade Storenvy themes in my design shop.

Storenvy is great place to open up a shop because it’s free and you can customize your own store design. The default shop uses very clean css and html and is real easy to change.

Below you’ll find a tutorial on how to edit some basics, using css and html. Make a backup of your code before editing by going to your Storenvy dashboard > Design > Current Theme > Download Files.

1. CSS – CHANGE STYLE OF PRODUCTS TITLE
————————————————————————————————————-
A. In the Storenvy dashboard go to Design > Edit styles > CSS mode
B. Find the h2#title { } code and replace it with the following code. This code removes the border at the bottom. Change the size of the font by changing 18px to a smaller or larger number.

h2#title {
color: #777777;   /*: Page Title :*/
border-bottom: none;
font-weight:normal;
font-size: 18px;
background-color: #FFFFFF; /*: Page Title Background :*/
}

DIY: Dyed easter eggs

I followed this great tutorial for dyed easter eggs. This was so much harder than I thought it would be. Below you can read how I made them.

Materials
Eggs, leaves, nylon stockings, rubber bands, food coloring, glass of water, white vinegar

How to
1. Wrap the a leaf around the egg and secure it with a piece of nylon stocking and rubberband
2. Add food coloring and a teaspoon of white vinegar to a glass of warm water
3. Place the egg in the colored water for about 5 minutes
4. Remove the egg from the water and carefully remove the nylon stocking so it can dry

Tip
Wear gloves, the food coloring will stain your hands.
